“Ox & Tiger is a Filipino and Japanese inspired pop up curated by Chefs EJ Macayan and Hitomi Wada. While living in Chicago the two sparked the idea of taking the abundant influences of the Philippines and the delicacies of Japan Cuisine to create new and familiar flavors to share. It started off as dinner for friends into taking a leap of faith and starting to share the collaborative efforts to all. Ox & Tiger pulls from different upbringings but tend to find a cohesive foundation that has people leaving the table full.”
